Mark Davis founded Stonehenge in 1981 and remains in a hands-on role across the business as its Managing Director. With an initial focus on restorations and renovations, Stonehenge had already begun to produce high-quality custom homes by the mid 1980s. By 1989, Stonehenge had begun to produce custom designed prestige homes in the more affluent areas of Melbourne including the 'White House' which was the first of many luxury, custom designed mansions built by Stonehenge. Throughout the 1990s, Stonehenge began to establish quite a unique identity with international success in the Japanese housing market. Stonehenge built the $2.5m Australian Consul-General's home in Japan as well as a range of 50 other homes. In the past fifteen years, Stonehenge's core business has expanded from custom-designed into providing expertise in the area of integrated developments. We've built the award-winning Williams Bay development in Williamstown and the luxury Bedilla Apartments on Lansell Rd in Toorak. We've expanded operations into the aged care sector, building developments with quality of life in mind as well as continuing our custom project home operations.
