Stonehenge was chosen to complete the last remaining land sub-division on Rifle Range in Williamstown in the mid 1990s. The unique development, named Williams Bay, was completed by Stonehenge in 2002 and was celebrated for the was its design suited the natural coastal landscape of Williamstown as well as for the community interaction facilitated by Stonehenge through the creation of one Australia's first online community portals - Williamstown Online.
Comprising of 51 single, double and three storey houses, the integrated community of Williams Bay consists of three distinct and different styles - Country, City and Coastal.
All three styles fit perfectly with the historical, yet modern and stylised surroundings of Williamstown. They all feature the latest modern luxuries and design characteristics.
Williams Bay won the 2002 Housing Industry Association Award for the best Medium Density Development in Australia. The judges said that Williams Bay had been:
"designed in a manner that has facilitated the neighbourhood's character to a high level. There is a degree of consistency in some features that ties the development together to create harmony and quality in the public realm. The quality of the neighbourhood layout is supplemented by good internal dwelling design, well-proportioned private open space and good workmanship".
